Job Description

Processing of invention reports and consultations with the inventors and R&D departments of the NETZSCH Group
Conducting searches and analyses on the patentability of products and technologies
Drafting, defending and enforcing our own property rights both in collaboration with external patent attorneys and independently at home and abroad
Maintaining our patent and trademark database and the patent and trademark portfolio
Registration and defense of trademarks
Contact person for all questions relating to industrial property rights
Developing and managing patent information and its statistical evaluation, as well as communicating with our internal clients
Processing infringement cases relating to technical and non-technical property rights

Qualifications

Successfully completed studies in patent engineering or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in a patent department, ideally in an industrial company
Knowledge of employee employment law, in particular compensation law
Strong technical understanding and interest in legal issues in intellectual property law
Confident handling of property rights management and search tools
Very good knowledge of German and English
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Analytical and strategic thinking, as well as a high sense of responsibility
